EXPEDITION

Our exclusive travel concept in Bolivia is based on very small groups and deliberately differs from classic, standardised tours. An expedition with a maximum of 4 travellers, where over 16 days you enjoy a personal experience that can be easily adapted within the expedition structure to your rhythm, interests and the conditions on the ground.

DESIGNED WITH PURPOSE

16 DAYS. A CLEAR STRUCTURE. MANY POSSIBILITIES.

The expedition begins in Sucre and ends in La Paz. The route connects historic cities, high-altitude deserts and volcanoes, allowing you to experience the Salar de Uyuni in a way that most tourists never get to see. The route is designed to alternate between intensive days of exploration and quieter moments.

STAGE 1 — ARRIVAL IN BOLIVIA

SUCRE AND SURROUNDINGS

Beginning and Arrival

Your first contact with Bolivia and preparation for the expedition.

POTOSÍ AND HIGHLAND REGIONS

Transition into the Highlands

A gradual ascent and the first routes through higher-altitude regions.

EDUARDO AVAROA NATIONAL PARK

Entering the Remote

Journey through regions without infrastructure. Off-road terrain and isolation.

SALAR DE UYUNI AND SAJAMA NATIONAL PARK

Intensive Highland Expedition

LAKE TITICACA AND LA PAZ

Final Section

From Lake Titicaca to La Paz – the final stage brings you back to civilization and marks the conclusion of the expedition.

Our expedition in the Andes takes you through regions with changing conditions and challenging passages in a specially equipped 4×4 expedition vehicle. This allows us to reach remote areas and continue the route where infrastructure is limited and mobility becomes more challenging.

MOBILITY IN CHANGING ENVIRONMENTS

WHAT CANNOT BE PLANNED

Although the expedition follows a clear plan, the route is not rigidly fixed. It can be adjusted depending on the weather, road conditions or the conditions on the ground. Some landscapes or viewpoints reveal themselves only when conditions allow. This is not an exception, but an essential part of the character of an expedition.
